I was cleaning up breakfast in the kitchen and the kids were playing in the other room. When it got really quite I went to investigate what they were up to. I thought it was funny that Isaac pointed out that Anna was in the shower too when I asked him how they got in there.
I put a show on TV while I was getting ready for the day. When I came out this is what I saw. I just wanted a cute picture of the kids sitting together on the couch (since Anna climbed up there herself). All the kids were concerned with was seeing around me. Silly kiddos.
Our street did a little block party for the National Night Out. Isaac and Anna had a lot of fun. Of course, I didn’t have the camera for most of it. We knew a firetruck was coming and we waited and waited but finally had to get the kids home for baths and bed. Right when we walked in the door I heard it so I grabbed Isaac and the camera and we went back. Isaac loved it and had the most fun ringing the bell on the front. He also enjoyed sitting with his friend Natalee, who lives across the street.
I found these little model trains that you can paint and built yourself at Michael’s the other day. They were $0.30 each and they had 7 different train cars. It came with the paint and glue and everything (although we used our washable dot paints). We have only made the engine so far but Isaac LOVED it. He is so proud of the engine that he made. He keeps asking to make another one but we have to do it when Daddy is home because otherwise we have a little Anna “helper.”
We never got any pictures of Isaac like this because he has always refused to eat pasta. It is pretty cute seeing Anna get the fun red/orange colored face, hands, arms, chest, legs…..
Jeff took Isaac to the circus for the first time. I was so sad that I didn’t get to go with them. Anna is a little to young and would not have been fun to take. I had Jeff take a lot of videos for me so I could watch Isaac enjoying the circus. I’m glad they got to have some Daddy and Isaac time but I am disappointed that I didn’t get to see Isaac enjoy it.
When they got home I asked Isaac what he saw and he told me “elephants and motorcycles and I got to eat popcorn!!” I think the popcorn was the highlight of the circus for him. What a silly little guy
