Our sweet baby girl is 1 year old.

August 21, 2009 — 7lbs 6 oz, 19.25 in

August 21, 2010 — 16lbs 9 oz, 28 in

She had grown and changed so much!!  Anna has been walking for a while now and is getting close to running after her brother.  She says many words, her first being “uh, oh.”  She loves her burp rags and they have become her lovie.  She has a spunky personality and NEVER quits moving.  She is good at letting us know her opinion.  We love our little Anna Banana and can’t wait to see what the next year is going to bring.

Here are pictures of our first day of school this year.  I also put up the first day of school last year although we started in January so it wasn’t really a year ago.  The kids sure have changed in that amount of time.

We took advantage of the nice weather this week and took Anna for her first bike ride.  The kids had a blast and it was really funny watching them mess with each other in such close quarters.  We are looking forward to the fall when we can do this more often.

Our Little Miss was so proud of herself for this little mess.  She climbed up on the couch, got the tissue box off of the counter, sat back down and proceeded to pull the tissues out of the box while eating little pieces along the way.  Silly little girl.

We went Hawaiian Falls on Saturday with Jeff’s work.  It was a lot of fun because they rented the place out for the evening so it wasn’t crowded at all.  The kids had a lot of fun.  This was the only picture wew got because neither of us wanted to carry the camera around while we were wet.

Frisco Safety Town is doing Family Fun Friday nights.  They have jeep rides from 5 – 6:30 and then biek rides from 6:30 – 8.  We took Isaac a few weeks ago but he couldn’t reach the accelerator pedal on the jeep so we just walked around.  This time we brought his bike for the bike ride time.  He had to sit in a little class with Jeff and learn the traffic laws first.  He was really cute on his little bike.  He knew he had to stop at the red lights and one time stopped about 10 yards away because he could see the red light up ahead.  Jeff had to explain to him that he could go up to the line and then stop at the red light.  We had a fun time except for the 103 degrees part

We got Isaac his first bike last week.  It is a balance/runner bike.  It doesn’t have any pedals so kids learn how to balance on their own and then when they have that down you get a bike with pedals and they don’t need training wheels.  He has been riding it around the house a lot since it has been too hot to ride outside.  It is pretty cute.  If you want to see videos of how the bike works check out www.stridersports.com
